When it Rains it Pours
Life is full of surprises, one day we are running from trouble and the next day we are showered by blessings. I often wonder why we go through so many different neighborhoods as we travel along life’s journey.
We travel through neighborhoods where everything in our lives looks to be going well. The vehicles are running smoothly, children are behaving, cash flow is steady, etc. Then we travel through bad neighborhoods where everything we look at is falling apart.
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
God is sovereign, he is in control of the entire universe and every person within it. We can’t have all sunny days, sometimes it’s cloudy and other times it rains, but in all things we give thanks to God.
