What’s Your Standing?

When it comes down to the end of any season for sports team, the standings are important. Each division have a certain amount of teams all competing for the division champion first then to win the final championship game.

Unlike sports teams, we are not compared to any other team or individual to see where we stack up. We are measured against the word of God to determine whether we win or lose. If a team lose this year, they can try again next season.

If we lose, there is no second chance. Death is our final competitor!

1 Corinthians 15:54-56 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
