The Zeal of the Lord Shall Perform It!

When God is serious about something and he wants us to really get it, he speaks it multiple times. “For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this” 2 Kings 19:31 and Isiah 37:32.

God wanted Hezekiah to be assured that he was going to change things so he used this metaphor twice in two books of the bible word for word. He assured Hezekiah that the plants would grow, that the people would thrive, and that they would recover from the physical and spiritual attacks.

Speak it to yourself every so often and say, “Thezeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this”. It’s too big for you, but the diligent intensity of the Lord can handle it.

Lord, do it for me right now!
