The Plaintiff or the Defendant

I often wondered what it would be like at judgement day. I wonder who will show up trying to plead their case for access to heaven as the Plaintiff before the righteous judge. I think about the defendant opening the books and presenting them to the lord who will then examine the book of life.

The truth of the matter however, is simple, we expire, the immoral part of us is presented, and we receive our just reward. My mother used to say, “Jesus on the main line tell him what you want” I suggest we plead our cases now while we can do something about the verdict.
