The Last Supper

Jesus seldom missed an opportunity to teach his disciples. He was called Rabbi for several reasons, one of which was because he was a master teacher. Jesus could use anything as a teaching tool in ministry.

At the first day of the feast of the unleavened bread, Jesus said, “He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me” (Matt 26:23). We have often hear people say, “the devil is in the details”. Jesus provided a riddle for his disciples by the previous statement, “…dippeth his hands with me in the dish…” another version said, “eating with me”. Nevertheless, Judas did something around the table that the others did not recognize that he was the one, but Jesus knew.

Satan will always try to destroy good intentions.
