The Fight Is Fixed!
Have you ever witnessed a one sided fight where one person was clearly undersized and not match for the other person? In most cases, the larger person is the bully in the match. We have all seen this in person and in some cases, we were the smaller victim.
Any time I find myself in a contest with evil, I am reminded that the evil against me is undersized because I have the upper hand. Not only do I, but you to have the upper hand if Jesus is your Lord. Here’s why.
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.
God used a priest by the name of Jahaziel to prophesy to the king to take his army and stand before the opposition. There was no need for Jerusalem and Judah to fight. The battle was God’s to fight.
Every battle is NOT yours to fight.
