Thank God for Sight

During the Thanksgiving holiday, we are reminded of just how blessed we are. We typically go down the list of the endless things we are thankful for.

Among the many things, I am thankful for sight. Sight allows me to see the beauty of God’s handiwork. I can see the majestic trees and the endless seas.

Sight, however, doesn’t stop there. We are blessed with insight to discern the intentions of others who may be possess with sinful desires to hurt you. We are blessed with foresight to see way ahead of current disappointments.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised” Luke 4:18.

Lord Jesus, I pray that the sights of men are recovered!
