Perishing from the lack of Knowledge
Not knowing something can cause any living being to perish. If you are traveling and there are signs warning you that road construction is ahead, you begin to make preparation. On the other hand, if you are driving and there is a large sink hole ahead, you are in great danger depending on the size of the hole. Ignorance or not knowing something can be detrimental to any of us.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
