Ornaments

When it comes to decorating a Christmas tree, there aren’t any written rules to follow. You can place anything that will hang on a tree and call it an ornament. People hang real food on the tree and eat them counting down to Christmas. Even pictures of family members are placed on the tree. Regardless of what is used, people get excited when they look at their decorated tree.

Christians who are followers of the one who was born on this holiday, has ornaments like a soldier. Each badge that a soldier receive is a direct result of something. He or she received a badge or a symbol for being a marksman, one for testing out well on a given exam, and some soldiers may even receive a purple heart. Some of the badges left emotional scars while others might have left some apparent physical scars. Nevertheless, when that soldier puts on his uniform, he stands up straight with great pride knowing that he had represented his country well.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Tim 4:7-8.

Represent Christ well!
