No Room
Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
There are certain words in a sentence that we would rather not hear at all. Some of these includes, “I don’t love you”, “I hate you”, “You’re fired”, or “Sorry no room for you”. All of these can be a heartbreaker in any given situation.
I’m reminded of a few friends who wanted to ride with their friends but was told, “We don’t have room for anymore”. What a blessing it ended up being. News came out the next day that those friends was in a fatal accident and somebody died. What about accepting a position with a company only to learn that they were closing by a certain date.
Mary and Joseph must have been extremely disappointed being told over and over again, “sorry we don’t have any rooms available”. God however had a master plan in place already.
Although we don’t want to hear disappointing words, it can be the best thing that happened to us.
Remember God has a plan for you. No room with them means a mansion with God!
