Let’s Ride!

Whenever a person say to you, “Let’s Ride” automatically we think about taking a trip of some sort. It may mean a trip to the mall or a trip out of the state. I like to hear that phrase as well but the one I like the most is, “Let’s go home now”. This means that the trip is over and as Dorothy said in the Wizard of Oz, “There is no place like home”.

One day this trip of life will be over and a voice will rapture the church. I don’t know if he is going to say, “Let’s ride” but whatever the Lord says I want to be ready to go home with him.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
