Intrinsic Value Versus Assigned Value
The value of a ten dollar bill is assigned value. Not because it worth ten dollars worth of paper that would be a stack of paper. It's not because it's made of ten dollars worth of ink. The government assigned the value of one thousand pennies to it. A gold ring has intrinsic value based on it's pure nature. Our value as Christians are assigned value because God we are royal priesthood. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; - 1 Peter 2:9
