How is Your Ministry Defined?

What really drives us to do what we have been called to do in ministry? If you need regular doses of appreciation and respect in order to continue in ministry, you are in trouble as a Christian. By now we should all be freed from the roller coaster of people’s opinion. We fall under two basic categories; either you seek to get identity from your ministry, or you stand firm and secure in the identity you have been given in Christ Jesus (Paul David Tripp, Dangerous Calling).

2 Timothy 4:4-5 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
