Hear No Evil See No Evil

It is amazing to me how we begin to imagine images based on what we hear. A child is not afraid to go to bed until he or she watches a scary movie. If he or she watches a clean comedy, they will most likely sleep in peace through the night.

With this said, we should be very careful what we allow our ear gate to hear. In the natural world, hearing explains what we see. In the spiritual world hearing produces what we visualize.

Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

When the Spirit of the Lord is Upon us, we are quick to fear (reverence) the Lord and not evil. We are not disturbed by the evil we hear or see because we know who is in control.
