Expressions

We have always heard, “it’s not what you say but how you say it”. Expression is defined as, the act of expressing or setting forth in words or indicating ones feeling, spirit, character, etc., as on the face, in the voice, or in artistic execution.

We can express ourselves in so many different ways. Because expressions exposes what we are feeling or thinking, the results can be welcoming or offensive.

Jesus had something to say about how we express ourselves.

This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. Matthew 15:8

Jesus is able to see right through our false expressions. Whatever we do for the master, let it be real!
