Discernment!

Discernment by definition is to perceive by the sight or some other sense or by the intellect; see, recognize, or apprehend. In other words you can’t purchase a pound of discernment from the mom and pop store or Walmart. Discernment is a gift from the Lord that is activated on demand. We don’t have to hit a button or act a certain way, it just kicks in automatically.

We must remember however, that this gift is given to be used in ministry and to avoid the trickery of the devil through people. We should never use it to harm others.

1 Corinthians 12:10-11 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
