Crushed

When we ponder on the word crush, several situations come to mind. A person feels crushed when they are seated between two people with not enough space to move. The impact of a vehicular accident can result in a crushed vehicle. Crushed however as a Christian can result in the best thing ever.

Crush by definition is to press or squeeze with a force that destroys or deforms.

And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head. Mark 14:3

The alabaster box was valuable but the content inside was invaluable. We will never know our true worth until we are crushed!
