Crucifixion or Resurrection
Whenever we think about Easter, those two words saturate our minds. We typically view one as being bad and the other as the best thing that has ever happened. Resurrection Day is the crown Jewel for Christians because Jesus came back from the dead and presented himself to his followers.
Crucifixion from the Roman standpoint can be a painful death. Contrary to that, crucifixion for the Christian is a must. We must crucify the flesh daily to continue living a life acceptable to the Lord. When we;
· Crucify hate, love is resurrected
· Crucify envy, acceptance is resurrected
· Crucify jealously, celebration is resurrected
Crucifixion and Resurrection are always in motion for Christians.
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
