Blinking Lights

We all love Christmas, the poinsettias, the Christmas songs, fruit cakes, the decorations, and the lights. Above all that we do to illustrate Christmas, I think the lights tell the story. Throughout our travels, we see lights of all different colors, sizes, and design work. In additional to the lights, a blinker added to the lighting system seems to draw a little more attention.

Jesus said, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house” Matt. 5:14-15.

Jesus said we are the lights of the world. Nothing was said about being blinking lights. Blinking lights gets the world’s attention. Shinning lights gets the Lord’s attention.
