A switch, a nozzle, and a valve

These three mechanisms listed are uniquely different but they all have something in common. An electrical switch releases electrical current. A nozzle releases water from the hose. A valve releases air from a pneumatic tire. They all releases something or provides a pathway for continuation.

The Apostle Paul wrote, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Rom 10:17.

Hearing the word releases our faith which can result in any expected end. Something else to acknowledge with all four examples. The switch had electricity coming to it. The nozzle had water waiting to be released. The valve had pressurized air. And finally, the believer was harboring faith.
