Wake Up

Isaiah 50:4. The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

Those who are physically and mentally exhausted because of hard work, fatigue, impatience, or dissatisfaction need a word from the Lord through us. A word from the TV, Radio, or printed material does not carry the same weight as coming from a real live person. It is called, the personal touch.

The prophet Isaiah said, “The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary.” You have a word in your belly even when you think it’s not there. God did not invest all his time and spiritual energy in you for nothing. There is a WORD in you learned from the best to give to the weary.

Wake up, get up, and speak up for the Word is nigh.
