Keep it Holy

There seems to be mass discrepancies today regarding the Sabbath Day. Most people argue that honoring the Sabbath Day vanished with the Old Testament dispensation. Is why people do any and everything on our Sabbath Day?

Exodus 20:8 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy

Moses asked the people to keep one day holy unto the Lord. This is probably why the people interpreted it, as to say, that they could live like hellions the other days. Jesus on the other hand expects us to be holy every day of our lives.

1 Peter 1:15-16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, be ye holy; for I am holy.

Peter, one of the apostles that spent the most time with Jesus, reminded the saints to keep it holy.

Holiness isn’t just for the Sabbath, it is a way of life!
