Quarantine verses Sanctification

Sanctification and quarantine are very similar in nature. They both requires separation from the norm. Let’s dig a little deeper into these two words.

Quarantine means to be placed in a strict isolation to prevent the spread of a disease. Sanctification means to make holy, set apart as sacred, to consecrate. To purify or free from sin.

So both words means essentially the same to be separated from something or somethings. The difference is this; when one is quarantine he is set apart for a specific time. When one is sanctified he is set apart all the days of his natural life.

Christians are not quarantined from sin for a short period they are sanctified, set apart until the Lord calls them home!

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
