Favor during Disobedience

Have you ever stopped for a few minutes and acknowledge all the blessings given during times of disobedience? Sometimes, we spend so much energy complaining, that we fail to recognize God’s favor on our lives.

Stop complaining so much, open your spiritual eyes and see all the great things that has been provided for you! You are caring for an ailing parent but have the resources to do so. You have an appliance that needs replacing but you have a house to put it in. You have a pain in your shoulder but you can still feel pain.

The children of Israel complained for 40 long years. However, through it all their clothes did not fade or wore out. They all still had the same shoe they left Egypt with. Forty years without stopping by the shoe shop for repairs!

Deuteronomy 29:5. And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.

Even in the worst of times God is still blessing!
