A Whole Heart Search

Jeremiah 29:12-14. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

This prophetic letter was for the Children of Israel who were in captivity. God wanted them to know that their captivity was for a set time. However, upon coming out of exile they needed to do the very thing that they did not do which landed them in captivity initially. They were reminded to SEEK the Lord!

The Lord reminded them in verse 14 that He will be found by those who seek him. This however is the best part, he said, “I will turn away your captivity”. This means, I the Lord will restore the fortunes lost.

A restoration project is complete only when all the correct parts are in place.

Seek Him today with your whole heart!
