Substance Abuse

The world is saturated with individuals who are engaged in some form of substance abuse. We know of people who are hooked on heroin, crack/cocaine, nicotine, grain alcohol, etc. Typically, when a person gets in too deep, they lose their sense of direction.

Substance is defined as: that of which a thing consists; physical matter or material of a thing. The very essence of our being is the substance called life. Whenever we abuse the substances listed in the previous paragraph, we are deteriorating our most precious substance called life.

Here is the bell ringer, too many have abused their relationship with the creator. This type of substance abuse is the most fatal of all.

Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:3

We consist because of Him!
