Memorization
Remember growing up as a child we said Easter speeches, we hated when we were given the long ones. Through must practice, prayer and fear of being embarrassed we overcame. Most of us today don't even travel with physical bibles anymore because we are dependent upon that electronic devise we have in our hand. Sadly enough, when it is time to actually find a book in the bible, we have to go to the content to locate it.
This world in which we live in is powerful but very fragile also. We as a nation are one phone call away from a national shutdown. Our intelligence system and technological data centers can crash because of overload or worse a pandemic technology virus.
This is why we should commit to scripture memory. In fact Christians should memorize at least one verse per week. If you have been saved for 50 years that equates to 2,600 verses. Wow, that's devil chasing, miracles working, eye opening, tongue talking power right there. I feel the power of God talking about it.
Nothing comes out of a dry sponge, but when it becomes saturated with a liquid, something comes out when squeezed. If we are saturated with the Word of God, when folks press us the wrong way the wisdom of God comes out of our belly.
Whatever we are saturated with comes out upon squeezing!
John 7:37-38 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
What's coming out of your belly?
