Getting to the Destination of your Dreams
We all have dreams some small and some huge. Ever thought of where dreams came from. Well let’s explore our dreams.
Fact #1 – Dreams are sometimes developed based on our environment, what we here, see and/or experience. As a child a person may experience poverty so they dream of the day when they would have enough food to eat, clothes to wear, a nice house and vehicles. This type of dream is constructed out of personal wants.
We supply all of the materials for this type of dream
We supply the energy, belief system, and work
We long for the day it all comes to past
Our dreams become our personal goals in life
This dream is so big that our family and friends will say right keep dreaming.
Fact #2 - We have dreams that seemingly comes out of nowhere. This dream/vision may happen while you are awake or sleeping. In fact most dreams happens during a phase called REM or rapid eye movement. This is the 5th stage of the sleep cycle. The average person has 4 to 6 dreams each night. But we forget about 95% of our dreams. During REM the following takes place;
Breathing is more rapid, irregular, and shallow
Eyes may jerk in various directions
Limb muscles becomes temporarily paralyzed
Heart rate increases
Blood pressure rises

5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed:
7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.
8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.
9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?
11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.
_First let’s identify the kind of dream Joseph had. (Recurring dreams, Prophetic, Epic)
_Second, he was already hated by his brethren and the scripture said, 5…and they hated him yet the more.
_ Third, one should never feel compel to answer all of the question relating to his or her dreams. Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? According to scripture Joseph did not answer here.
_People become envious of something that has not happened in our lives yet. So, if they are envious and it has not happened yet what’s going to take place when it becomes a reality?
I pray that you continue to dream big and that you pay close attention to your dream as it relates to the types listed. Take the time to analyze the dreams that you can remember. Some dreams are understood and some are not. Some we create base on our life journey and others just seems to appear while we sleep.
When God wants you to understand your dream He will make it crystal clear for you.
Keep dreaming.
