A Fresh Start

Everyone likes a fresh start especially if the past was not so desirable. Some people made a few bad decisions that somewhat blocked their chances for advancement. When this happens it is always good to be offered another chance to make things right.

There are two areas in our lives that we appreciate this the most, the laws of the land and the laws of the universe. The laws of the land are the ones that we need to follow to avoid fines and sentences. For these reason we drive the speed limits, avoid drinking while driving, etc. The laws of the universe are the natural laws of God that applies to every living human being.

For some odd reason we live in a world where people are losing respect for the ruler, creator, and owner of everything, God almighty. We seem to think that we are the ones responsible for the accomplishments in our lives. However, when things begin to head south because of a few bad decisions made, we acquire an humble attitude. It is at this point that we beg and cry for another chance. In the legal system we can ask for mercy and sometimes we get the charges dropped or the fines reduced. In the presence of God we repent and ask for forgiveness. It is up to Him to measure our sincerity and determine if we are worthy of a second chance. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9).

Forgiveness from God means A Fresh Start go ahead ask him for another chance and mean it from your heart. He is a God of another chance and another chance and another chance and so on. Purpose in your heart to make the best of you FRESH START!
