How to Impress the Lord

We live in a society where people go to great length to impress others. We get in debt with expensive cars, homes, clothing and fine jewelry. Sometimes we even make decisions to hang on to these things at the expense of losing our families. We purchase all the latest electronic gadgets to impress our tech savvy colleagues. We spend thousands of dollars on exercise equipment only to hang clothes on them later. The lingering question however is what are we doing to impress the savior. Even better what do we have to do to get is attention. The answer is simple; But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb. 11:6

All we have to do to impress God is to simply believe that he is who he said he is and by faith he will reward us. Typically rewards are given to those who complete something but with God he rewards us throughout each day. The only thing we have to do is to

- complete interactions with others on a note that is satisfactory to God

- be nice to strangers

- deal justly

and just like that we are eligible for the rewards of the Lord.

Impressing the God is simple and we do not have to spend a fortune doing it.
